....lol......yup....insurance is great.
and then getting denied for my LTDbcuz I chose an agressive form of treatment over something conservative.....all my life of seeing drs and PT wasn't considered......hmmmmm
NICE...nah, why on earth should our brains be monitored while someone is chisling away at our skulls near the epicenter of our lively hood....like breathing, heartrate...ect....
All I can say is that the paperpushers need to get thier heads out of thier A**es!!! They need to realize that something like that isn't just for giggles! Oh wait, I forgot...they know more than the doctor does....yeah right!
yeah...while in the hosp total time I had with PT was maybe an hour...hour and a half. tops....and the charge was $800.00......
All they did was walk beside me......and explain the home PT sheet.....lol.....
But I am upset at the extras in the OR that the insurance comp doesn't feel is needed....like monitoring our nerves during brain surgery...what???
I have always wondered the same thing. Sometimes I wonder if they realize what these doctors are doing to thier patients. That "do no harm" clause, hahahaha! Guess they just mean physically. Because if they knew how much harm they are doing to most patients to support their ridiculous lifestyle....well, I'm sure you get the point. By no means am I jelous of that lifestyle, because I am a very simple person. I can think of many things I'd rather have than fancy cars and fancy clothes.
I received a eob ("explination of benefits) letter and saw that a radiologist charged my insurance over $800 to read a basic and simple MRI of my neck...That's crazy! Being a part of the web of health care, I am constantly appauled at the rates people are charge for the simplest and sometimes necessary things.
