thanks to both of you - I will be in touch!
Welcome to the forum,
Chiari is a very overwhelming condition so please know that you are not alone! You are a great daughter for doing all this research for your mom, she is very lucky! Family support is so very important while dealing with this and it looks like your mom has a lot of that.
I'm so glad that you have learned from our posts, please feel free to ask a question anytime.
I wish you the best in finding a good specialist, let us know how things go!

U r welcome...make sure u ask if the drs see adults...some will only see children.....I pray u find a dr near u, but many of us have to travel to get to a true chiari specialist.
I am so glad u were able to benefit from the info here : )

thank you so much..I actually looked at that list yesterday & wrote down the info on those 2 docs in Texas :) I have learned so much from your posts.. thanks again.
Hi and welcome to the Chiari forum.
Unfortunately, many of us have had symptoms treated as individual issues and never connected them together...which prolongs getting a proper dx.....I was 48 when finally dx'd and I had issues going back to grade school age.
Below is a link to a list of Chiari drs that members of this forum have been to and liked..please research all drs to find the right dr for u...there r a few drs listed for TX.
