12 months daughter hit her head by her hand.

12 months daughter hit her head by her hand.

My 12 month old daughter recently started hitting her head by her hand. putting her fingers in her mouth and then make face like she will vomit, try to put things in her mouth, sometimes scream. I would like to know is this normal?  She recently started walking, she observes everything very carefully, started to say few words, whenever she see new face she smiles. She is very friendly.

What do you mean hitting her by her hand? Do you mean hitting her head with her hand? The rest of you say sounds normal for a child. How long would she scream for?
Please explain the hitting of the head.

I have had four children and it is ok when a child hits themselves in the head at this age or bangs their head on the floor, wall ect.........all children at this age have a differant approach to frustration.  Ignore it , the more you say something the longer it will continue.  She will soon outgrow it.  Putting her hand in her mouth is from teeting and she has learned that she can gag herself which makes you sqirm.  Ignore this too it will all soon pass quicker if ignored.
