14 yr old obsession???

Our 14 yr old Nephew appears to be completely obssessed with our 3-yr old daughter. When we have family gatherings, he will not leave our daughter's side & is always taking her away from our sight. He also always wants to watch her diaper being changed. Once I had to take her into the bathroom to change her diaper & he had been standing outside the bathroom door with his ear up towards the door when I opened it, he took off running. It is giving me a very uncomfortable feeling - is this normal behavior for a 14-yr old at all? We love our Nephew, and this is the last way that we want to feel about him - but, we need to protect out daughter?? Also, when I ask our Nephew to keep our daughter within my sight - 2 min later, he has taken her off somewhere & looks at me from the corner of his eye - it is more than a creepy feeling that I am having - or am I over-reacting???

His behavior does invite concern.  What do his parents have to say about this?

It may be uncomfortable, but imagine yourself in the situation in which his parents find themselves. You'd want to know about your son - it's important and they may have some information that will be useful if he needs help (which he very well might).

As far as I know - his parents are not aware of it & I feel pretty uncomfortable approaching them about it???
