About my 5 years old daughter

My daughter has started with kindergarten for a month. She really wants to make friends, but she ends up pushing or hitting everyone. At school, everyone is trying to avoid her, because they know she’s very mean and aggressive. Some kids like to tease her, and she didn’t ask them to stop instead of pushing them away. She has trouble to describe the incident at school. She is also so physical to her 18 months old brother at home. If we don’t pay attention to them, she will hurt her brother so bad. When she makes him cry, she looks very happy. This is same as at school. When she destroys somebody's work area, she looks very happy. When we talk to her about the disipline, she won’t be able to look at our eyes, instead of pushing us away.  She gets upset so easily.

Please let me an advice about her behavior.

This behavior requires very straightforward, persistent, concrete limit-setting and discipline. If she is in any fashion aggressive, immediately place her in time out and limit the amount you talk to her. All you need to say is 'No hitting', and place her in her time out chair. Use a timer to track the time (5 minutes or so), and start the timer only when she is seated and quiet.
