If this measure of your daughter's IQ is accurate, there is no reason to expect much variation over time, though there may be some modest gain. The most importynt thing you can do is to be sure she is receiving the special education services she will require. If you live in the United States, her public school should be on top of this. If she has not been evaluated through the public school, be sure to request this right away.

I understand your concern, but you are trying to forecast the future and there is no way to do that. Instead of focusing on so mnay years ahead, focus on now and being sure she is receiving the best educational program you can arrange for her. That is the most important thing. As she grows and develops her capacities will become clearer, but there is no way now to tell what the future will hold.

Dear Anitha,

Please move on from this testing. You needn't do anthing else. You keep asking what your next step should be, but I have answered that. All you have to do is be sure she is receiving educational supports in school. No further evaluations are necessary. Over the next couple of years you will see how she progresses and if she is learning at a normal pace.

I am not sure why she got zero in block design, doctor and test environmet is not free. she finaly said she got bhore while test, she is not shown any intrest on doctor way of test. Is it test will condect  seriously? they won't get entertrain kids to get ans. as per my observation this many years she is a slow larer, she is good physic and batmeaton player. she one kid os twin daughters. she is not having more complai she need support in accademics as per my exp with her.

Can we take anothre test with any otheer doctor, do we need any time gap. What will be my next step?

Please focus on the positive side of these tests such as the coding score.  Give her healthy food, lots of sleep, social interaction with peers of her age and a good education that is appropriate for her like the doctor suggests. You can supplement the education with Occupational Therapy and tutoring for academics.  I am also surprised, and I am not an expert, that she had a zero score on Block Design.  Is that possible? you probably need to ask the doctor.  Maybe the tests were not performed correctly.  At this young age it is very hard for the experts to do the IQ tests on kids that are so young and with maturity she will be easier to test.  Just focus on supporting her with an appropriate education and home life.  She will succeed.  Blessings for her.

There is not much to say beyond noting that these results are likely somewhat lower than your daughter's IQ will utlimately be. She is young and, with more development and education, she will be able to reply more successfully to a number of the subtests. Right now I would not focus much on the test results, but more on being sure she is receiving a sound educational program.

The first thing to do is to have a professional hearing evaluation and an eyesight evaluation.

It is important to rule out physical causes for lack of understanding before drawing any conclusions.

If the test that was conducted was only a screening instrument, it is important not to place too much emphasis on it. One of the purposes of such screening instruments is to identify possible problems and perhaps consdct more thorough testing. In your daughter's instance I would proceed with a complete test of intelligence. The nest things you can do as a parent are to be sure she is receiving the required educational supports and promote reading outside of school.
