I work with a group of ten children in my child care facility. I have a lot of training and completly understnd the conceptConcept dha of children do what children do. My issue is that I have one todler inparticular who is 3 1/2 and constantly disagrees with some of the other children. Then it becomes a battle of "I am right!" "no, I am right" pretty soon all you here is "yes", "no", "yes", "no"...... While I understand that this is a part of communication and social skills, it is frusterating to hear as well as to see the children not getting along. I have spoken with professors in the child care field as well as read a lot of child development books. I haven not really come up with a magicMagic bullet tricks to take care of this issue. Does anyone have any suggestions?
