my child is not talking

i have a 3 year old girl who says nothing but hears everything.her brother is 5 and now talking but not all that good.is this having effect on her?but she laughs and do signs .medical report shows she is normal.but why is she cant simply say even mama?am very disturbed

Well, medical report did not a speech and language evaluation. She may be medically fine to speak (his mouth, vocal cords, etc aoe ok) but she does have speech delays or she has something called selective mutism. However, her brother is just starting to talk at 5 right?! He needs help as well. I will take them to do an psychological evaluation that includes speech and language, intellectual capoacities, etc... a full evaluation. You got nothing to loose. These are your children and they need your help. Good luck. BTW, her brother may "influenced" her but not really her speech.
