Dear Allen, In fact you need expert chiropractor help for lower back pain, because I read somewhere : In his presentation, Dr. Janse reviewed the literature from the time of the founding of chiropractic in 1895 to the 1975 conference date. From that review, various chiropractic hypotheses were identified and research recommendations were drafted in order to dispel the myths and/or to support the tenets of the chiropractic hypotheses. Much of the chiropractic research conducted to the 1975 date supports the proposed hypotheses while others continue to be investigated.
It is important to note that doctors of chiropractic do not utilize drugs or surgery in their practice. However, there are times when a chiropractor will recommend that the patient consult another practitioner if these or other methods of treatment are indicated.
I hope you would consult chiro asap.

I have never had trouble with my period. I am on birth control.
It could be something mechanical within the spine, muscular, or organic in nature. Do you suffer from irregular periods?
I have not discussed this with my doctor because the last time I saw her I was not experiencing a lot of pain. I had been having trouble with my back but it was not this bad. I do not have insurance, so I cannot afford to do any tests at this time. Do you know what could be causing this pain? When I wake in the morning I have terrible pain in my back. I have been prescribed ultram by my doctor. I take one 50 mg and 2 tylenol 8 hour and that helps me to where I can at least do my housework. This pain just came all of a sudden. I dont know what to think of it.
I'm troubled by the fact that this pain is extreme, continuous, and unrelieved by OTCs. Have you talked to your GP about this already? If not, please do so... have they run any diagnostic tests or performed any imaging series?
Warm wishes,
AT
