sharp shooting pain front right leg at the top.

When i was in labour with my daughter in 2007, during my labour there was a loud crack that came from my lower back, as it wasnt painfull wasnt to worried, just guest things would be moving around, for teh last six months i have been getting a sharp hot shooting pain down the front top right of my right leg!so sharp sometimes that it has thrown me to the floor in tears.
the last 4 weeks i have had nothing and thought it has gone away, But i was wrong it has come back and im now worried because i am pregnant again, i dotn want to be in such pain and worried about when the pain strikes, ie like when im driving,
What could this be?
I ahve been reading horrible stories like cervical cancer tumours causing pain down your legs pushing on siatic nerves!as i am only 22 i was refused a smear.
please help.
thanks
Jade

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
There are a number of things much more likely than cervical cancer. It's most likely pressure causing nerve irritation due to the altered biomechanics of the spine and pelvis to handle the pregnancy.

There are chiropractors who specialize in caring for pregnant women. Do some research online and see if you can find one in your area. This would be a great person to consult with...
