taking more than the recommended dose of Doxycycline

by sammyk26, Aug 26, 2009 03:38PM
On 07/17/09 I was diagnosed with Herpes type 2 and Chlamydia. My doctor started me on Valtrax (1 a day) and Doxycycline 100 mg 2 a day for 15 days which finished 2 weeks ago. On the bottle of Doxycycline said there is one refill so I went to pharmacy got the refill and start taking Doxycycline again for 4 days and I started having some familiar and new symptoms like burning sensation, going to bathroom often, feeling I have to pee but nothing there, new symptoms some joint pain in my fingers that happen for few hours a day and goes away but no swelling and sore trout.
I have stopped taking Doxycycline since the 4th day - since I realize that was given to my partner without informing me
All other STD’s were Negative

what should i do? or what do you recommend?
