Help me interpret my Spirometry results?

by SamDelorean, Sep 11, 2009 09:37PM
I'm a 35 y/o male.  69 inches tall, 147 lbs, never smoked.  Very fit.  No health problems.  I'm trying to get a very physically intensive job, but have to pass the Spirometry test.  The doctors requested that I take it again.  Here are the results the second time:

Index          No.  Meas   Pred   %Pred   %Var
FVC           05    5.11     4.97    103        .4
FEV1         05    4.06      4.12    99         1.0
FEV1/FVC  --     79.5      83.0    96          .6
FEF25-75    05    3.7       4.4      84         .0
PEF            05    9.3       9.4      99          8.6

Any comments are appreciated!

Thanks... I was wondering if anybody in the know could give me an opinion as to whether my results are generally OK, terrible or otherwise.
