Excuse me but I am not a compulsive eater never have been, I eat only calorie controlled three meals a day. My diet consists of a high protein diet my major problem for my weight is unable to exercise due to disability of osteoarthritis in my spine knees and both feet. When living on a disability pension going to a weight loss spa is out of the question buying food and paying normal every day bills is just affordable . As I am allergic to numerous foods my food intake is controlled and that includes eating junk food like fries and hamburgers I have a serious allergy to potato, yeast is not a friend either so bread is not part of my diet either. I have a healthy intake of food caloric value 800-1200 per day. I have other major issues with a colostomy caused through perferation of divertculum, I have an autoimmune disease, and chronic fatique. I have legs full of fluid and suffer from pitting edema servely.
Pulmonary hypertension is often associated with obesity. No doubt you will relieve your symptoms if you lose weight. I don't know what advice can be given to someone who is a compulsive eater because so little works. Maybe getting yourself away from temptation would help (for instance, leaving the house for hours at a time without money so you can't buy food), or going to a weight-loss spa if you can afford it.
