Do you have liver cirrhosis? Are you being followed by at least a gastroenterologist or better still by a hepatologist?
If you have liver cirrhosis it is best to be followed by a hepatologist associated with a liver transplant center.
Do you know your MELD score or Child/Pugh score?
Have you been evaluated for liver transplant and are you transplant eligible?
If left untreated, the liver can lose its ability to function correctly. One of the symptoms of cirrhosis can be nosebleeds, which can result from a reduction in platelets due to an enlarged spleen and the inability of the liver to produce clotting factors.
How is your platelet count?
Are you doing anything to prevent your cirrhosis from advancing?
