I am 44 and had this problem. My progesterone was low. I use prescription progesterone cream every month for 2 weeks prior to my cycle and it has made me lubricated again. It has also made my periods more regular, less painful, less water retention and less clotty. You need to see your gynecologist to get your hormone levels evaluated.

Hello!

First off, you are not the only one who has this problem. Many women have an issue with having an orgasm and staying moist enough during sex. There are many causes, and possibilities, ranging from simple distraction to serious stress, and other issues.

To fix the problem however, there a a few things that you can try. Foreplay before sex is usually very helpful in arousing your body for what is about to happen. The more caressing and skin on skin contact, the more aware your body becomes of the upcoming copulation and the more sensitive your skin will becoming.

Lubrication is also a very helpful thing in this area. Though it may be awkward at first, getting the "right one" can help with that, and keep the experience sexy. There are even ones to help with orgasming, and making the sensations more intense that will help in keeping you aroused.

There are also some medications and natural pheromones/oils on the market that can help with arousal and orgasm intensity.

And sometimes, though it also my be awkward, viewing erotic material  before or even during sex can help. The sights and sounds of sex occurring can often be enough to make the body want it, and prepare it's self for the occasion.

Hope some of this helps!
