fighting a cold can't shake w/ cough

what can i do to shake a cold thats been hanging on .. with a chest cough.. had the chest x-ray ..
   which means yup been to the docs .. lungs are clear..
      went to doc again today .. gave me something to suck on .. medication .. 7 day supply  like a breathilizer..
   counts the doses...
   along with something for the cough at night...
  i was on the same meds before for the cough did not wrk... for 5-6 days beefore going back
  What can i do ... ? have had this thing going on 2 weeks

My undiagnosed cough has been going on for over 9 months ..sore itchy eyes, sneezing ...other stuff ...I have found many with similar ...put it down to Environmental allergies caused by the aerial spraying they are doing ...look up at the skies ...and watch utube 'What on Earth are they Spraying"

Hi, Try cheese and onion sandwichs, but you need the onion thick so it makes your eyes water then you know your at the right strength, also slice some garlic in as well, will do wonders for, and stop people talking to you up close, try eating them 3 times a day and the last one just before you go to bed, and mature chedder cheese is best.
