I strongly recommend that you have blood work done for Lymes disease.

I have lymes disease and did not see any rash.  I had the temperature in the beginning.  When you go for blood work you have to be specific about asking for Lymes disease blood work.

The pain I experienced from Lymes disease was like no other pain I have ever experienced.  Driving, holding onto the steering wheel was very painful.

I agree with all the others about your SMOKING. Did you know that smoking causes high blood pressure!!!!

Good luck!

I've never heard of smoking causinf recurring fevers.  Sounds
Ike an infection to me.  There is a disease called Tick Borne Relapsing Fever that you probably want to look up.  If you're a builder, you're probably exposed to more ticks than most people.  If your doctor isn't much help, then try a Lyme Literate Medical Doctor (LLMD).  They tend to be knowledgeable about all tick borne diseases. You can get a recommendation from a local Lyme support group.

I'd encourage you to go soon.  Relapsing Fever can become quite serious, and it doesn't go away by itself.  Good luck!

I agree. Try to slow the smoking a little bit. I know it's hard, but it could help.

My grandma had the same problem. She's not smoking now because she had to go to the hospital back in November 2011 with a high fever and not being able to breathe, what she thought was an allergic reaction. Turns out, she has emphasima. We're trying to get my dad to quit for the same reason.

Feel better!
