How would vit c cause this to happen? how would you know if a child has a vit c-diff?
I have a 2 year old that has been battling this for some time now...she has the same symptoms your child does..she has 2-10 bms in one day ..but some days she is fine. She complains she is in pain, she never eats...I get every test for a child to see what the problem is but no luck. what could this be?
I would have the doctor do a blood test for Celiac and IBS-they can look at the genetic factors. My daughter has had alot of GI problems and they blood tested her for that at age 2-they came out negative but it did give me piece of mind.
Good luck and keep me updated.
Hi,
Stool examination may be done to rule out infection.
In about 20% c-diff recurs.
You may give a course of flagyl along with probiotics.
