2nd Ep Dr. and told pretty much same results whats your thoughts anyone?

The 2nd EP and he says does the cardio side as well said pretty much the same thing.   Where i stand The pacemaker/defib is what they would place in me.  to get the heart to pump at the same time and if ever needed the defib is a incase for the worst.  I have been feeling better about it still worried but not like i have been.

I did My treadmill walk today at 3.2 mph and watched my pulse and only once when i places my thumb on the pad to see it seemed odd like it showed 212 for a sec then back at 115 to 138 area not sure if it is just the treadmill from placing my thumb on and off or not.  as soon as i was done in 30 mins i did My blood pressure and pulse was 121/78 pulse 82 .

I have decided that if my EF isn't lots or somewhat better in the next less than 4 weeks ill sch for the pace/defib.
Both have said once healed  I should have any troubles Lifting the 80-100 lbs things i do at work or climbing poles near power lines.  That the technology has came along so people can be near those types of things.

I know a man that has a Pacemaker and works for the power company and is around them all day and had his put in 5 1/2 yrs ago. Not for same thing i have tho but has a device.

I just hope If the meds are not getting it better and the exercising isnt getting it stronger that this will help like they say.   Even if my ef doesn't get better they say the blood flow should be better and i would feel more energy and all...  that was kinda nice to hear.

I have had a defib/pacemaker for about 7 months, and yes I feel better.  I'm able to do more than I could prior to install, and there is a certain amount of peace, knowing that it's there.

My BP has bottomed out recently, to 54/34, but my pulse rarely drops below 60, which shows the device is working properly.  So far I haven't been zapped and truthfully I'm not looking forward to that time, except to say that if I need it, at least I know it's there to save my life, as I live in a rural area and the nearest Heart Specialist is 90 miles away.

I live within walking distance of one of the largest Hydroelectric Dams in the US, and I'm told as long as I don't do a tour of the inside of the Dam I'll be fine.  I can pass within 500 feet of one of the power houses and so far it hasn't made a difference with my device.

Personally, I highly reccommend the device if it's needed, and you have sufficient health insurance to cover the cost, as they run around $250,000, plus the cost of followup care.

I hope the best for you.
