Hi,
Firstly, the cause of the LV dysfunction needs to be found out. It could be due to a valvular disease (defective valves) of the heart, Myocardial disease (disease of the heart muscles) or the pericardial disease (disease of the outer covering of the heart). The management will purely depend on the underying disease. An echocardiography is a simple test to find out the same.
I sincerely feel you need to consult a cardiologist and seek treatment.
I hope that helps. Please do keep me posted.
Kind Regards.
your description of your dysfunction is very vague so it will be hard to offer any useful advice. What are some symptoms you are experiencing? What makes you think it's your left ventricle that is acting up? Have you seen a doc and what's the advices that he/she gave?
Your left ventricle is by far the most important chamber in your heart as it's responsible for pumping the blood supply to the entire body. There are many diseases, malfunctions, problems, etc... that can affect the capacity of the left ventricle to function properly, and until we know what's wrong with it in detail can we offer an appropriate suggestion. To be honest, only your doctor who examine your heart carefully can offer a medically sound diagnosis.
