I am 69 yrs old and have recently been diagnosed with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (primary), mixed hyperlipidemia, non-rheumatic mitral regurgitation, and non-ischemic cardiomyopathy. My ejection fraction is 35%. What may I expect for life expectancy and what can I do, other than prescribed medications, to improve my condition? I am in otherwise good health other than taking a cholesterol lowing medication. Thank you.
