Crohn's in Pregnancy

I have had Crohn's for 18 years.  I just found out we are pregnant.  Does anyone have any suggestions or comments for me about what I can expect to deal with for the next nine months?  I've been in remission for about 4 1/2 years.  I have been off of my immunosuppressant for 2 years or so.  I welcome any offers of advice, warnings, etc.

I was diagnosed after my first child was 1 year old. I went on to have two more healthy 8lb babies. I felt the best as far as my crohn's was concerned when i was pregnant. Probably the result of all the extra hormones. I wish you all the luck and healthy a pregnancy.

I felt my best when I was pregnant.  Could eat anything - it was great.  Only had trouble my in my 3rd month.  That's when we found out I was pregnant.  You'll be fine - enjoy that little bundle growing inside of you.  It's the coolest thing God did in my life

I actually was pregnant with Crohn's and didn't even know that was what I had until several months after I had the baby and was diagnosed with Crohns. I had severe constipation and bad cramping during pregnancy but besides that everything went just fine. My baby was born beautiful and healthy and I was on tons of different meds at the time cause my ob-gyn was trying to figure out what was wrong with me and none of them harmed the baby. I'm sure everything will go just fine for you and the baby.

Thank you so much for all of your kind words!  We are so excited, but I can't help but wonder what is in store.  I was hoping that others had felt good during pregnancy, because that's what the literature says will happen.  You never know if you can trust that though, right?!  I haven't been on meds in almost two years, but I am having to take lomotil for diarrhea they say is in no relation to my crohn's.  That's been going on for almost two years-which is why I quit the meds.  I'm hoping for the pregnancy constipation to kick in so I don't have to take the lomotil.  LOL!  We had out first ultrasound yesterday at 8 weeks and they said everything looks really good.  I just want to do all i can for this little one growing inside me.
