Please help me fight IBD

My 22 year old son was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis 3 years ago.  As a mom, I feel so helpless because I can't do anything to make this go away.  I have decided to use the only ammunition I have and that is to participate in CCFA's Team Challenge Marathon in January.  I am doing this for my son and all of you who suffer from this ugly disease and hope that CCFA can raise enough money to see a cure in his lifetime.  Please visit my webpage at www.active.com/donate/MI09philadelphia/csteck.  Please pass this information on to anyone you think might want to help!  Thank you.

I also have a 22 year old son suffering from this disease.  What a lovely gift for a mother (me) to pass on to her son.  I was diagnosed when I was 21 and after 10 years had the J-Pouch surgery.  It is so frustrating seeing him go through this.  At least he has someone who's been there to talk to.  Good luck on your challenge.  I am going to look into what they are doing here in Canada too.
