UC flare while 26 weeks pregnant...any help?

I am 26 weeks pregnant and my flare-up has progressed to a pretty bad state. I am now on 30 mg of Prednisone, and just put on the BRATS diet. With 7-9 painful trips to the bathroom a day I am starting to wonder if this is going to get under control. I have been symptom free for 9 months before this, and then years before that. I am starting to wonder if the baby is putting too much pressure on my intestines thus causing the UC to be worst.

Any healing ideas would be appreciated....thanks

Ask your doctor about super green formula.. i took it THROUGHOUT my ENTIRE PREGNANCIES... its what placed me INTO remission in the first place with my crohnes.  I continue to take it everyday.  I found it through the biblical diet.. ( eating only the foods you can find in the bible) it contains every green thing from this planet. ( except gross toddler boogies you see in the grocery store..lol.. all my kids are healthy and happy. i had wonderful pregnancies.. I am only saying check with your doc because i dont know what other meds you are on.. if you have any ohter conditions. ect ect.. its over the counter.. found at most health food stores. .garden of life makes it.. easier to take in pill form. its all the green foods you are supposed to eat anyway.. just in a pill. try it.. give it a shot. about 18 bucks. I used to use the bathroom every 10 minutes .. bleeding rectally used to be part of my life..
good luck.. let me know if this helps you!!!

Try to find ways to reduce your stress.  Take baths and maybe try massage therapy.  Many people with UC and crohn's feel much better on a gluten free diet.  Perhaps you could try eliminating the gluten for a while and see if that helps.  Good luck to you.
