i have had colitis for nearly 10 years and now my whole body aches

hi there .i have been diagnosed with colitis for nearly 10 years i have had numerous courses of steroids .and different types of meds to get it under control the only thing that keeps it under control is being pregnant and i cant be pregnent all the time lol, anyway over the last couple of months i have been suffering with my joints my whole body aches and im always feeling tired im scared that i may have chrones .is anyone else feeling like this who has uc .

Yep!  I've had Uc for 18 years and it seems the longer I have it, the more my body hurts.  You might to mention this to your GI because people with an IBD have a higher incidence of arthritis.

hi yes it is known to make all your joints ache, makes you tired too,pls speak to your doctor.

Yes, it is time for a rheumatologist.  There are several types of arthritis that can be related to inflammatory bowel disease and it is important you get treatment and not ignore it.
