I personaly dont like the man, but I do enjoy watching his sitcom. I guess it looks like im one of the few that doesnt agree with him being fired. Yes he's an *******, a bad father, an alcoholic, a cheater (I could go on for awhile) but im not thinking about that when im watching his show. He is a good actor. So no I dont think it was fair, my opinon though. I also think the media makes things out to be bigger than it really is, not sure if thats what their doing on not but its know to happen.........

He certainly has provided entertainment for many.  I think there are more pressing concerns than this man and the lifestyle he lives.

I agree that the media is making a huge meal of it .. whichever side one turns to, his face is up there and its only feeding the frenzy .hey haven't they more anything more important to focus on ..apparently not .. .

Oh yes.  I think he'd have a hard time with the show anyway due to the way the public views him.  His character is a bit less lovable on the show as he is so rude and out of control in a big public way.  For the network, it IS business as usual and Sheen's antics are worthy of being fired for.  

I also hope he gets help as he is delusional and stuck in some grandiose, egotistical rage.  I'm glad the custody issue is coming about as hearing that he had his two young sons on air with him is troubling.  Sitting in the laps of two porn stars no less.  Gross!

I think the public needs to turn Sheen off and stop watching this disaster derail before our eyes.  The public's interest in him is only feeding the problem.

There comes a point where this guy became a "liability".  Shows insure their stars, to make sure that they will be there and will be able to produce a finished product.  Charlie Sheen, (God bless him) is a liability now.  Insuring him has become impossible and jeopardizing a finished product.

Add this on top of running his mouth, saying all kinds of horrible things about his employer.... really Charlie?  You expect to call your boss names and the likes and be able to keep your job?  

The man is ill.  He has a mental condition, not to mention chemical dependency issues.  He needs help and all of the "winning" and "tigers blood" are not going to save that "warlock".  It is sad to watch a melt down like this.  (I don't find this as news really, and wish the media would cover more pressing issues.)

I heard on some news program that Martin Sheen is applying to the courts to be his executor?  Not sure if that is quite right, but basically to deal with is affairs and guard his assets, much like what happened to Britney Spears.  Maybe that is best until he is able to get his life under control again.  I just think this is so so incredibly sad to see.  There are obviously some huge problems there...if not just addiction, then serious mental health issues. I saw the interview he did with Piers Morgan and clearly this is not someone who is thinking rationally.  I also saw that his children were removed from his home during a visitation and I believe they are no longer allowed to see him unsupervised.  I think this is a hugely positive thing personally.  Perhaps his love for them will be that extra motivation he needs to get the help he obviously so seriously is in need of.  

I wish it were easier to have adults committed.  It is unbelievably hard (at least here it is) even when it is clear they are a danger to themselves.  I think if they pose a threat to others it's easier, although it's more likely to be a jail cell then a hospital which is sad in itself.

Everytime they have a segment on television, I want to cover my eyes. I mean, I am embarrassed for him. The media should be ashamed for starters. I think Charlie is done as far as getting acting jobs because of his behavior and addict or not, he has a history of domestic violence and altho he is an addict I do agree, his behavior is out of control and needs addressed. We have a lot of young impressionable young people watching this train wreck play out. Yep, and the dude is still in denial as to admitting there is a problem.

Disgrace?  I'm sorry but there is a reason for the word addiction as opposed to choice  He is an addict and is sick.  He is no different then any other person with addiction issues except his are played out in the public eye.

Then he should have been arrested for use and distribution of narcotucs.

I am not sure.  I actually feel really badly for the guy and think he needs help.  However, that being said, it really depends on whether or not his addiction interfered with is ability to do his job.  If the answer is no, then they shouldn't have.  If it did interfer and he continued to refuse treatment, then they had no choice. I don't think his private life is others business otherwise.  We shouldn't be using, nor teaching our children to use stars as role models anyway.  They aren't "real life".  Just my opinion though.
