So clearly this was a mission of terror, yet before the bodies were cold what did we hear? Well we heard the call for gun control, we heard the call that it must be a white male (probably christian). But it turns out it was a Muslim who committed these acts. Why is the left so silent? Will Obama call this terror or "work place violence"?

I have not heard anyone saying that it must be a white male, much less christian, and as far as obama and what he will call it? I believe he said this is not normal and as he has always stated, it is time to take a serious look at some common sense regulation on who can access guns. As far as if it was terrorism or not, there are conflicting clues and at this time the motive is not clear. Is this our new normal? I have always said that if sandy hook didnt wake people to common sense, nothing will.

I understand that republicans blocked a bill just yesterday that would have allowed research on gun violence and deny anyone on a terror watch list access to guns.

But setting all that aside, this is americas problem as a whole, not white, not muslim, not black , not democrat or republican and until we start uniting as a country, nothing will change, it will just continue to be another day in america....imo

Gun control reg. will only make a small dent in the issue regarding gun violence.  The Black Market is alive and well right here in the U.S.; anyone can have access to obtaining a gun illegally. I believe the numbers are around 8% for crimes committed by weapons that are sold legally by retailers, the rest are either bought on the Black Market; borrowed; sold illegally, or stolen.

We're still waiting on more info. regarding this particular mass shooting; it will be interesting to see where this leads us back to. Let's not forget, the media reported devices were found (which are usually homemade by a nutcase).
This couple were definitely mentally unstable at least; thankfully they're no longer with us.

I'm not upset that the killer wasn't a white Christian male, I'm upset that these occurrence happen too frequently no matter who the perpetrator is.

According to what I found searching online,
Mass shootings averaged more than one a day in ’15.

This IS domestic terrorism and yes, the easily availability of guns is a big part of the problem.
