"Her support for them is what made her "a losing cause." How sad is it that a decent person gets lost in supporting a party and policies that constituents don't want and in the end, the part turns its back on that person? There has to be something for politicians to learn from this, but none will...
This is the "system" being the system. Its how it works. Play by their rules and you have their backing. Don't play by their rules and you get the crickets....
" they did not want to be seen supporting a losing cause."
Her support for them is what made her "a losing cause." Losing cause or not, I think they owe her.
Looking back, I bet she regrets voting with her Party instead of, for her Constituents. Oh well, “she made her bed.” She actually doesn’t even reside here and uses her parents address for a residence. She lives in a $2.5 Million home in D.C. Granted, a $2.5 Million home in D.C is not a mansion but it is where she resides.
If she were the same Mary Landrieu she used to be, I would vote for her before Cassidy. So once again, I’m forced to vote against instead of for someone.
Enlightened of all this, I wonder if she were re-elected (stranger things have happened in La. Politics), would she change her ways?
Yes I agree with her, they walked away from her because they did not want to be seen supporting a losing cause.
