Guns Banned?
I cannot imagine how Griz would have dispatched the 2 pigs he slaughtered the other day...with a knife?Much suffering it would bring the poor critter.
Many times we hace had to use different calibers of guns for different things throughout the years.Animals that stalked my little girl and killed my dog and 30 plus chickens.Living where we do we have them for self-protection,(the law takes forever to get here).We have also had to end the suffering of an animal a time or 2,without something what would we do?Hit it in the head with a rock and hope we killed it?
The saying say "Outlaw guns and then only criminals will have guns".Stricter application for permits required safety classes locked cabinets when children are residing there.Wait a Minute! Why weren't her Guns in a locked cabinet?she failed her son greatly and indirectly caused the life of the children to be lost.She is guilty also,she had to have known better.If my child had a problem I would know and seek help.

Of course it makes no difference what the shooter is wearing and I know that as well as you do.......It was an observation that both hrsepwrguy and I made that it's hard to take some of those guys seriously, even though it's serious as can be.....
But if you'll go back and read what I actually wrote, you'll see that I merely made the comments about the "pants on the ground" to take the issue away from race, since making it a racial issue was neither R's nor my intent.
As to the founding fathers - sure we can go there; we've talked before about what the founding fathers may or may not have envisioned.

This includes defense, which falls under the 2nd amendment. The same reason most people own Hand Guns. Taking them out of the hands of Law Abiding Citizens puts us at a disadvantage. If they cannot stop the flow of tons of Cocaine how will they stop the flow of Illegal Guns?

Among members of Congress, Thompson, the former Sportsmen's Caucus co-chairman, was named to lead a Democratic task force on gun violence. He's a hunter, a wounded Vietnam veteran and a conservative Democrat.
"The only experience I've had with assault weapons was the one that I was trained with when I was in the Army," he said. "I know that this is not a war on guns. Gun owners and hunters across this country have every right to own legitimate guns for legitimate purposes and ... we are not going to take law-abiding citizens 'guns away from them."
On Monday, NRA member Manchin, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa — senior Republican on the Judiciary Committee — said it's time for a debate that would include gun control. Reid previously had taken pro-gun positions for years.

I looked it up and you are correct. 2010 -39.45% White / 54.5% Black. But race was not my intent. The point I’m trying to make is The 2nd Amendment gives me the Right to Defend Myself. If the Streets are Armed better than me, how can I defend myself?
