Plum. Embolia & Lung Infarction during IVF

Hello. I had PE 2 months a go. Now taking HLMW - Clexan 80 ml every 12 hours. Im stopped the IVF treatments, not smoking and not taking anything ealse but the Clexan.
Id like to know about the period I cant continue the IVF - is it 6 months by the book or could be less?
Should I accept to replace Clexan with Comadin pills?
Can I fly for about 3 hours and back?
Is there a risk if I'll have some legs injures? Broken leg for example.
Id like to get more ingo, cause doctors are not explaiming me these things as well.
Thank you!

Dear MD thank you for your answer. I spoke with my "blood specialist" and he told me that all my tests are OK and I dont have a risk to get it again, but for a safe side i have to take 80 ml of Clexan once a day additional 4 months. When ill continue the IVF and during the pregnancy and 6 weeks after ill deliver ill still on Clexan...did i missed something?
I dont have any problem with factors 8,9,11 or any other reason for new trombs anywhere. Doctor suspects sigarets and conserv. pills i used to take 2 weeks before the PE. I dont smoke and i suppose my doctor will not give me these pills anymore.
Thank you again!
Regards,
Liel

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
I understand your concern regarding your condition. Blood thinners help prevent new clots and they can be given through a vein or by injection under the skin. However, management plan usually varies from one patient to another and depends on a variety of factors such as the underlying cause, initial evaluation, medical history, diagnostic test results and symptoms present. It is best that you discuss this with your attending physician. If they do not properly explain, ask until you are satisfied with the answer. Take care and do keep us posted.
