It can be candida even though the fungal swabs came back negative, it has been suggested/claimed in newer research that geographic tounge is caused by candida overgrowth.
Does anyone have any ideas? I mean, basically the question is, can you scrape off geographic tongue with a tongue scraper? If not then basically I have no idea what the heck is wrong with me. I sure don't have candida, and it's not leukoplakia cause it scrapes off.
So even though the fungal swabs came back negative for fungus, there's a chance it might still be thrush?
HI, This sounds like thrush to me. I would see a naturopath about this problem and I would probaby go back to the drs. I wouldn't go stressing about cancer just yet. I would try taking some inner health plus or yakult as this could be fungal still. Hope it works out for you.
I did start noticing a large mass below my tongue on the right side, when I stick my tongue out it sort of lifts over my teeth and it's easy to see. Maybe related? I had a cancer screening about 6 months ago and it was fine, no cancer. It was more of a general screening though, also, would cancer suddenly appear in a 6 month period like this? I was always under the impression that it's a slow thing that happens over time.
Go to the dentist and ask him to check your mouth for cancer. bumps are signs of cancer in mouth. Good look and made go bless you.
