Crossbite correction

When I was 16 I had an expander placed in the roof of my mouth followed by braces.  I am currently 22 and my teeth have begun shifting again.  I have a minor crossbite on both sides of my jaw along the entire jaw line (front to back).  I've also recently been having slight clicking in my jaw (possibly TMJ).  Obviously, my expander did not do it's job when I was 16, and I'm now not sure how to correct my bite and, subsequently, the slight crowding of my top teeth again.  Should I approach a new Orthodontist or go right to an oral surgeon to get the bite taken care of?

I would recommend seeing an orthodontist to see what needs to be done.  An oral surgeon probably wouldn't do the surgery without at least consulting with your orthodontist prior to surgery to ensure that the treatment is completed and the problem resolved.

I would try getting the invisilign braces to correct it.  That is what I just did and it fixed problem in 3 months.
