Dental Implants

I hope someone here chimes in.  I am considering getting some dental implants because I fell 1.5 years ago and broke three of my top front teeth.  They did root canals on two of them and crowned all three (and they look FABULOUS!) but, they are still hurting me.  I've been to an endo and had them redone, but still, they hurt.

Anyhow, I also have the great fortune of having lyme disease, so I'm a little worried about the healing and also about the rumors I've heard about how bad root canals/implants are for our bodies...?  Although I have lyme disease, I consider myself to relatively healthy and I'm currently under treatment for this.

I have a consultation with an implant doctor next Monday but I am SO nervous because I've heard that it is very difficult to get the top front teeth to look good.  This scares the bageebees out of me!!!!

If anyone can give me their thoughts on all this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you!

Firstly, if your endodontically restored teeth have no identified pathology to explain your pains, you may need to see an orzo facial pain specialist to rule out non-odontogenous toothache. If there is peri apical pathology , surgical intervention may rescue teeth. However, if your teeth are no salvavle, replacement with implant may be indicated.
