Extraction of #17 and 32, sore throat, and enlarged lymph node...

I had my wisdom teeth extracted. (#'s 17 and 32). I got dry socket, then got a sore throat and enlarged lymph node on right side of throat, and one on right side inner thigh. What could this suggest? Do I have an infection?

It is possible that you have an infection and the lymph node in your throat is involved. I think the node in your thigh should be investigated by your MD.

Thank you for your quick response. I tried many different sites but all wanted money. Unfortunatly, we live day to day and check to check. I can't always rush off to the doctor or dentist. If there is a problem, then yes, I will go. If not, I don't want to waste the physicians' or dentists' time. Thank you again. I will recommend this site to any friends/family that may have a question.
