Gum Change

6469069?1292846151
Hi, i'm 21 and at the moment my 3rd molars (upper jaw) are starting to show (impacted probably) . However i noticed a gum change. On the palatine side, the gum is turning red (not bright red, bordeaux...) and the surface of transition between gum and teeth is a it rough. I don't smoke, i don't drink alchool, and i brush 4 times a day.
What is this? See the photo please.

Are you brushing too hard?  It looks like you have irritated your gums from brushing too hard or too often (twice a day with a soft toothbrush for at least two minutes is plenty).

Any time a gumline is red it usually does indicate a gingival problem.  You probably need a professional cleaning to remove any plaque that you can't get with a regular brushing.

Do have it checked by a professional.

Best to you,
Gellia
