Small gum boil

At first I thought I had trapped food between teeth but went to floss and noticed a small
white pimple on bottom gum line. I've been using warm water with peroxide rinses for a few
days now and it seems to be going away. Do you think if I keep this up it will cure it?

I'm between dentists right now and don't want to enroll with another practice as I'm new to
the area and have no idea which dental practice is good (or bad).

Well, for what it's worth, the water/peroxide rinses got rid of it but
not the underlying issue. I'll see a new dentist for that.
