Just make sure that they don't use a material commonly known by Sargenti Paste/Cement n2, rc2b, rc2w. It is permanently sealed within the tooth and contains formaldehyde as an active ingredient and is known by all ethical dentistry to be toxic and dangerous. It can also include lead and mercury. It is claimed to be used as a disinfectant to clean out the canals. It mummifies them and can also damage surrounding nerve, tissue and bone. Random injuries can be devastating. Ask and regardless of how they defend it, don't let them use it. Not many dentists will use it but, unfortuately, there are still some that do.
I'm not a health professional but it seems as long as the root canals are successful you shouldn't have problems.
