Help! Nauseous, dizzy, pain irresponsive to vicoprofen

Had RCT partially done in the morning.  Endodontist said canal too narrow from infection/inflammation, and give me Amoxillin and vicoprofen, follow up next Tuesday.

Got home at 3pm.  Took meds at 5pm.  Drug kicked in after 1 hr, then I feel nauseous and lightheaded, pain came back after 2.5 hrs, threw up at 8pm.

Endo dr warned me that I have another bad tooth next to it, and I will feel the pain as if it's from the treated tooth, but he took out all the nerves there, it's merely phantom pain from the neighbor.  My fanily dr also looked at X-rays and didn't think the other tooth need treatment.  I think endo is just trying to avoid being responsible for left out canals.  He just complained they are too narrow to proceed and send me out of the door in 30 mins.

Not sure exactly what's going on.  Sonething does feel quite right (this is so different from my previous RCT exp 10+ yrs ago).  I am so miserable now, and it's Friday night.  What can I do?

Thanks for the reply!  It turned out that I had a rare severe case of interappointment flare-up. I had to be on steroid therapy and leave chamber open for a week, and retreated the root canal.  I had a vital pulp prior to RCT. Endo told me this only happen to about 1-2% cases.

Hello,
There are many reasons you could be having pain after this partial root canal. It is common to experience pain after a  root canal teeth treatment. It could be an infection or just the trauma of having the tooth worked on. Even though the nerve is removed, the gum and bone is still alive. It may be difficult to comment whether the procedure went correctly or not. If there is an infection it could build up to an abscess .It is best to seek emergency consultation of an endodontist and get your doubts clarified. I do hope you find this information useful.
Best luck and kind regards!
