I don't know how this procedure can ruin my partial.

I Have three crowns on the bottom.  When those crowns were done I purchaced a well made partial.  Two years later the two partials got infected and I was told that I would need new crowns. 1000.00 later I have them.  But they made them so big that my partials are no longer useable.  My infected crowns and even their temporaries my crown fit fine.  Yesterday they put my permanent on and told me I would half to get a new partial.  I don't understand why they made them so big.  I went and saw my denture doctor and he said there was no way I can were my partial or have it fixed.  I would half to purchase another one for 750.00$  My dentist never told me that I would half to replace the partial.  They made all my empressions with my partial in and my infected crowns.  To me it looks like my dentist made a mistake and made them to big.  Please let me know more information,  I am very up set and don't understand this.

Redoing new crowns to fit in exisiting removable partial denture is difficult, but can be done, although the fitness is not as good as original one. If your dentist can not solve the problem, you may need to find another dentist to do the job. Probably not many dentists are willing to do this kind of work.

it sounds to me like there is a problem here...I mean, really, if all the teeth but the crowns were your normal teeth and they made an impression, would they then say that you had to have the real teeth removed to accommodate badly done crowns? I think not...he doesn't want to fix this, and needs to..my dentist does back flips to make all his patients happy, there is something drastically wrong when they are trying to scam you for more money due to their accidental or deliberate mistake. print this off  and take it to him, I may not be a dentist, but I can smell a scam a mile off.
