Is my severely neglected tooth infection causing blood infection/brain infection?

I have failing root canals on lower molars on either side of my jaw. The root canaled teeth are now completely reinfected as confirmed by my endodontist. The larger problem is how long I was aware of the reinfection without seeking professional help. It has been at least two years that the root canals have been reinfected. About 6 months ago the glands in my neck swelled directly below the teeth on either side. My face swelled on one side. I still didn't get it taken care of at that point. About 2 months ago I had severe nausea and chills with fever. I also had confusion, blurry vision and extreme mental confusion. This week I saw an endodontist who prescribed me amoxicillin. I am worried bc I believe the infection has spread to my ear, jaw, neck and possibly brain or blood. What do I do? How can I be sure that this isn't the case?

Elimination of dental infection is esssential, which can be done by re-endo, apicosurgery, or extraction, if the offending tooth is hopeless.
