Jaw swelling, ear fullness, pain around clavicle, chest pain

I had a really bad infection with a broken tooth removed less than a year ago.  Immediately afterwards
there was a very sharp object protruding out of my gum at the extraction site that hurt so bad I did
nothing in hopes it would go away.  After about 3 1/2 weeks it appeared to but then I started wondering
where it went and called the dentist.  I was told it was probably just the way it was healing so thought
no more about it.  About 4 months later (5 1/2 months ago) I started having swelling in my jaws then
pain and fullness in my ears and a stiff neck.  I have constant drainage in the back of my throat which
I thought was sinus drainage.  With any type of pressure or manipulation in the cervical region of my
neck, I get increased drainage into my throat and a really really foul taste as well.  It is really bitter
and not like the normal sinus drainage.  This has been going on now for 5 1/2 months and now my arms
hurt and the center of my chest and the middle of my back along with the other swelling in my jaw and neck.
I am also beginning to feel more and more nauseated.  I was scared to go to the dentist at first because I thought I had something else going on not related to my decayed tooth.  I went to the dentist last week and he started me on 500mg of pennicillin (penicillin) 4X day for five days and in 2 more days will remove the tooth.  I actually started feeling better with the pennicillin (penicillin) but seem to have a relapse after the last dose at night because I am feeling bad again in the
morning when I wake up.

Is it possible that all this is really related to my letting my teeth go for so long??  I am really hoping it is
and not something worse.  I am 56 years old, not on any medication, am in good physical shape and very
active except for the last 5 1/2 months.  I do not have any fever and my normal blood pressure is 115-125//65-75.
Over the last 5 1/2 months when the swelling started, I have had weird situations with spikes in my blood pressure
up to 200/110 and low blood pressure down to 104/65.  My normal resting heart rate is in the low 60's but
during the time I was experiencing low blood pressure, the resting heart rate dropped down into the hight 40's
and low to middle 50's.  I spent a night in the hospital with a monitor and stress test was OK-so they think
I am just in good physical shape.  I know I am for my age-but not THAT good.

Also, I just discovered a pus pocket in my mouth but is so low down can't tell if it is on my tonsils or the
back of the throat.  It makes it feel like something is pushing on my throat.  When I press on my tonsils,
I have some kind of creamy discharge that appears to be coming from behind the tonsils.

Please-anyone ever had similar things going on-The last 5 1/2 months have been a nightmare-

Thank You!!
