Kid in pain, temporary crown placed wrong

Help!

My son Eliot (5) had a temporary crown fall off on Monday, the dental assistant put it back on Tuesday. That night Eliot was in a lot of pain. I took him back Wednesday and the dentist said it might be an abscess and prescribed antibiotics. He is still in pain and bleeding from around the crown. The dentist is nowhere to be found day after Thanksgiving. How can I make Eliot wait 3 more days? It looks like the crown is cocked to one side and pinching his gum against the tooth. Is there some way to get this thing off?
