Lower wisdom teeth just removed now a hole

So I just had my lower wisdom teeth removed the morning of Tuesday April 1st. Both teeth were partially erupted. One he split my gums and pulled the tooth, the other came in sideways so he split my gums and cut the tooth into 4 pieces and then pulled them. And after surgery my oral surgeon stitched up both sides. I'm 28 year old male never smoked before and I haven't used a straw. So far all I have been eating is ensure and pudding. I started very very gentle rinsing with salt water yesterday and lightly brushing my front teeth but staying away from the extraction sites. Now tonight I shined a flashlight back there and the left side is stitched good and there is a big white scab looking thing. Now the other side is stitched up still to and there is some white scabbing still to however now there is also all of a sudden a small empty hole back there to. It's a smaller hole maybe big enough you could fit 2 toothpicks in side by side. My question is that after this short amount of time should there already be a hole back there? Not really anymore pain then what I have had already. Drinking water doesn't seem to hurt. Just scared it's the early start of a dry socket??

Well woke up this morning which is day 3 and looked and the hole is even bigger now. The pain is still the same as it has always been since I got home.

It sounds okay.  Just follow instructions, like don't use a straw and brush and rinse carefully.  If you have any questions or problems, call the oral surgeon who did the extractions and ask.  Try to relax and rest.
