Mouth/salivary glands

I'm not sure about the best place for this question, but I've been having some mouth problems which I think are related to the salivary glands.
I sometimes get a small, painful swelling under my tongue, right at the back on the side of the mouth. This lasts for a few days and then goes away. I also get swelling of the ducts under my tongue when I drink fruit juice first thing in the morning - I'm guessing that this is because the juice is encouraging saliva production. There is also a swelling where my chin meets my neck which has been there for a long time. It's not painful and doesn't bother me, and I would guess is a gland.
Any ideas? The symptoms don't really bother me, but I've had other throat problems and am wondering if they could be connected. Should I talk to my doctor?, or is this just one of those things that I should ignore?!

i guess the sore throat might be related or any infection in that area might have caused the sub mandibular gland to swallow ...is the gland swallown and hurt or is it painless and fixed in its place...u should ask ur doctor about this condition
