No diagnosis yet for Mouth irratattion, swelling, sores

I had a sinus infection months ago and ended up with severe ulcers, swelling and pain in my mouth, mainly in the lower left side.  Doctor prescribed stronger antibiotics and solution to numb mouth.  But a few weeks later, the mouth problem came back and I ended up in emergency room at hospital.  They started different antibiotics and advised seeing dentist.  I did, a few days later and he sent me to periodontis who was not sure what was wrong, and could not get me numb, no matter what.  Even laughing gas did not work and finally they knocked me out.  They removed my wisdom tooth (impacted but had not been giving me problems) and he cut into the gum on the side of the tooth in front of the wisdom tooth(still not sure what was done here)  I have never experienced so much pain!  I had to go back a day earlier than the weekly update visit because it was not improving much.  They extended the antibiotics and changed pain meds and kept stitches in for another week.  Took stitches out after the 2 weeks and even had another update visit.  I told them I still did not think things were right.  Still felt bulge on the side gum but he told me not to worry....it would just take time.  Well, last Friday it started all  again!  Over the long holiday weekend!  Tuesday I saw the doctor, got antibiotic and told to see Ear Nose and Throat Dr.  Wednesday I was in Urgent Care, got different antibiotic and numbing solution.  Friday back in Emergency Room of hospital.  Exrays, bloodwork done and received 2 pints of fluid.  Changed to another antibiotic and pain meds and told to see Ear Nose and Throat doc.  I cannot eat, barely able to drink, have had cough and my ribs, back and front are so sore, I am weak, and exhausted and my mouth is still swollen and red and irrated and swollen.  I am just getting worse.  I am short of breath.  I am EXHAUSTED and WEAK! THIS IS NOT ME!   I am a non smoker. non drinker.   I am not getting better!  Can anyone offer any help?  I cannot continue this way!

I have periodic problems with sores in my mouth....my food doesn't taste like it should, and I can barely swallow....I've had this on & off for 5 years...I also have chronic sinus problems...my ENT in NJ said my sores were from my sinuses and of course gave me a antibiotic.....then we moved to TN and I asked my internest here, and he said it was from my bloodsugar numbers being too high (I'm a type2 diabetic)...so, he gave me some medication that you swish around in your mouth, and it they disappeared in less than a week...and I had had the problem nonstop for awhile!  Also, I notice whenever have to take an antibiotic, the sores start to appear....even tho my numbers are in control.....But I use the medicine & by the time I'm off the antibiotic, my mouth feels better!  Good luck!

I am having the same symptoms you spoke about in the beginning.  I am 20 years old, dont drink or smoke.  One morning I woke up with a sore throat and rapidly it spread into my mouth...my gums became swollen and my tongue and inner mouth are covered in little sores.  My whole mouth is in pain.  I dealt with it for 3 days before I went to the Emergency room and they prescribed me an antibiotic and a numbing solution for my mouth.  My throat is feeling better but nothing is helping my mouth, in fact, it feels as if it's getting worse! I can barely eat or swallow.  I am planning to see the dr. and/or the dentist soon, and hopefully they can tell me something.  If I find out anything I will let you know!  If you find out anything, let me know too.  I'm tired of the pain already!
