One baby tooth

I am 27 and have all adult teeth except one baby tooth (front right canine) that never fell out. When I was younger it showed on xrays that my adult tooth was up by my nose!? Well through the years it has moved down and is finally pushing on the baby tooth. The baby tooth does not seem to be moving, or maybe it just takes a while?! I would say that I have been able to feel the adult tooth trough my gums for about 2 years. I just keep waiting for the baby tooth to fall on it own or even get loose enough to come out, but it never does. Obviously, I haven't been to a dentist in the past couple of years ($$$$$) to find my answer! I just wanted to get someone opinion on this craziness!
