A little over a week ago i had four fillings done all on the top right side. One of them was apperently deep and the dentist told me that it was close to the nerve and needed to be watched. The bite was off (high) and i had it like that from friday evening until monday when i was able to come back in to get it adjusted. I also had two fillings on the opposite side of my mouth done that day as well. It has been almost a week since then and i have a few issues that I am hoping aren't signs of a root canal being necessary. It is not tender to bite down regularly however when eating any foods that are not soft i will have a small sharp pain when chewing on that side that goes away after a few bites but comes back when i take another bite. Since the fillings i have a small ache on that side of my mouth appear and bounce around from one toothe to another. Its not excruciating or like the pain i experienced when i fractured a tooth and did need a root canal but it does worry me when it happens its about a 3 or 4 out of 10 and it usually only appears in the afternoon or evening and dissapears after a few hours or immediatly after taking a few over the counter ibuprofen.there is a small amount of cold sensitivity but only with ice water or above but leaves instantly when the cold leaves and is not bad enough to stop me from eating ice cream ir drinking cold drinks. There is no hot or sweet sensitivity. I have also noticed there is a little more space in between those teeth when flossing than on the other side now. Are these just symptems of my mouth healing after an ordeal? or is this something i should be worried about and go get looked at?
thank you for any help i can get
