Spot in mouth

Hi, I have had a sore throat for over 3 weeks, the pain not really bad but annoying, my tonsil on left side has been swollen from time to time, especially in morning when I wake up, I have noticed a small spot with a white halo around it at the back of my throat on the side of my mouth that has been sore, should I be concerned about this? Oral cancer? Or possible infection? I have also a sore tooth that I can see a hole in with a throbbing pain attached, any help would be very much appreciated
