TMJ or something else??? Please Help

i have pain infront and below  of both my right and left ear. i hear clicking sound on my right ear and whenever i swallow my ear pops. i've been to an ent and my ears are fine. aside from the pain i've been feeling some facial tightness on my cheeks and stiff neck.  i just had 3 weeks ago an endoscopic sinus surgery, septoplasty and turbinoplasty for my chronic sinusitis. my doctor suspects tmj. i need help to ease my pain and a possible cure. i'm waiting for the result of my x ray but for now i'm desperate to find some answers for this pain. any exercise, drugs i need to do or take. thanks in advance!!

My TMJ x ray is clear, normal, in short it's okay.  ENT  diagnosed me with sialadenitis, salivary inflammation. At least now I can eat steak or anything i want :)

Hi, Thank you so much for the advise!! For two days I've been doing the exercise the pain. was relieved to, it's so amazing! Right now, I have very minimal stiffness and discomfort. I haven't got my x ray back from my dr. and I'm hoping that this tmj of mine wouldn't turn into a chronic case. Thanks again!! - Anna

hey anna, wow you have had a lot of stuff.
what i would do is start with simple exercises, take your tongue to the top of your mouth, open and close slowly whilst the tongue is to the top of the roof.
what this would do, is take your jaw to the mst retruded position, and hence relax the muscles.
you can have a mouth guard made to help stay in this position
try taking anti-inflammatory's

hope this helps
keep me posted
