Toddler General Anesthesia for Dental Surgery

My granddaughter is scheduled to go under general anesthesia for bottle decay to repair her four front teeth.  The dentist said that it was better to do it all at one time. This means that she will be under GA approximately 2 hours.  Is this safe or too long?

Thanks
